A bi-weekly illustrated magazine for children of primary school age, began publishing in Harbin at the Zarya publishing house in October 1926. The magazine existed until 1945. The magazine was popular not only in China and Japan, but also in France, the USA, and Germany. The magazine used all the best that was in Russian children’s literature of the early twentieth century.
